
Rene has been in the financial services industry for twenty five years. Over the last fifteen years, he has built his reputable practice by advising retirees, business owners and non-profit entities in the areas of wealth management, retirement planning and estate planning.
In 2006, Rene earned his Certified Financial Planner designation as part of his mission to assist and educate retirement plan participants on the value of proper retirement planning.
As an active member of the community, Rene currently serves on the Board of Directors for Whittier First Day Homeless Shelter and the Pico Rivera Chamber of Commerce. He is a past Board member of SPIRITT Family Services and Interfaith Food Center. In addition, he was appointed to the Social Services Commission for the City of Whittier.
Rene has been married for twenty three years and has three children, ages twenty, eighteen and eight. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Economy and a Minor in English Literature from the University of California at Berkeley.
Rene enjoys spending time with his family, reading and leading his alumni association, he co-founded, that serves underprivileged minority students attending his alma mater.
